ARDMORE and DURANT, OKLAHOMA -- Verizon users in Ardmore and Durant have something to talk about.
The wireless company launched its 4G Long Term Evolution, or LTE, network Monday in both cities.
According to Verizon, the network is the first and only of its kind in both Durant and Ardmore.
It will allow customers to stream video, download files, surf the Web, and share music and photos up to 10 times faster than before.
The 4G LTE network now covers about 68% of the Oklahoma population.
Verizon Wireless first introduced its 4G LTE network to Oklahoma in December of 2010 in Oklahoma City.
