TULSA, OK -- A Vietnam-era military helicopter was heavily damaged while being transported in Tulsa Monday.
The fully-restored Huey helicopter was knocked off a trailer after a hitting a sign on southbound Highway 75.
It was on it's way from the Tulsa Air and Space Museum to the Tulsa Veterans Day parade.
Veterans at the scene of the wreck say for them, the helicopter is more than a machine. It's almost like losing a brother-in-arms.
