Wild chase through Choctaw Co. ends with 2 arrested, driver on the run

CHOCTAW COUNTY, OK - A wild chase through Choctaw County yesterday ended today with women arrested on both sides of the Red River and police still looking for the driver.

Hugo Police say it started around 10 a.m. Wednesday when they tried to pull over 33-year-old Freddie Gaskey. He led officers on a chase through Choctaw County before he drove onto a rural private property, where he and 38-year-old Cynthia Hines and 39-year-old Rebecca Hall fled on foot.

Police found open containers of alcohol inside the abandoned vehicle.

Police say the two women spent the night running from them. Both swam across the Red River before Hines was caught near Frogville, Oklahoma, and Hall was arrested on a ranch in Lamar County, Texas.

Gaskey remains on the run. Police say they will issue a warrant for his arrest.
