DURANT, OK - A Bryan County woman was arrested Monday after falsely telling police she was an FBI agent.

Durant Police say around noon yesterday they were called to the 2300 block of West Main. 49-year-old Lisa Prejean told officers she had been an FBI field agent since 1952 during the Cold War and needed police to escort her to Oklahoma City so she could check in at her field office. When police called that office to verify her story, Prejean, who was born in 1962, then told police she had lied and was a nuclear physicist for the bureau's Europe office and that she was secretly trained at Quantico.

She later fessed up and told police she was trying to get away from all the drugs in Cartwright where she lived and have police move her to Oklahoma City.

Prejean was arrested and booked in for falsely identifying herself as law enforcement.
