DENISON, TX - A Texarkana woman is dead after a disturbance at a Denison home Thursday night, and police believe her teen brother shot her with a bow and arrow.

Police tell us they got a call around 6:30 last night of a disturbance at a home in the 2800 block of Pecan Gap. They say a 14-year-old boy shot his sister, 21-year-old Jennifer Rosewell, in the chest with a bow and arrow.

First News learned Friday that Rosewell passed away at Texoma Medical Center, and her body has been sent to the Dallas County Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.

The boy, whose name is not being released, was taken into custody.

Denison police believe the domestic dispute involved the custody of Rosewell's 18 month old daughter.
