ARDMORE, OK-- Despite the recent rainfall experts say we are not out of the drought yet and that conserving water should still be a priority.
In recognition of today being World Water Day they're simple things you can do to conserve water like minimizing the amount of water you use on outdoor plants and trees, checking for leaks in pipes, hoses, and faucet. Also turning off the water when you brush your teeth or shave.
Experts with the Noble Foundation say it's not just conserving water that's important it's keeping it clean by not polluting it by pouring chemicals down the drain. For more information on World Water Day visit http://www.unwater.org/worldwaterday/
