MCCURTAIN CO., OK-- A semi and a pick-up truck collided in McCurtain County Tuesday afternoon--sending a Wright City man to the hospital.
OHP says, 86 year old Daniel Herndon was traveling eastbound on US 70 when he went to make a left turn. He was struck on the passenger side by a semi causing both vehicles to come to a stop in a ditch.
Herndon was pinned for 15 minutes before the Millerton Fire Department was able to get him out.
He was air-lifted to St. John's in Tulsa with head injuries and his condition is unknown.
The semi driver was taken to a local hospital, but later released.
