Do you think you aren't a distracted driver? Well the state department of health says that if you eat or drink behind the wheel, adjust your radio, or use a navigation system, then you are distracted.

They say distracted driving is any activity that could divert a person's attention away from the primary task of driving. That can be manually -- taking your hands off the wheel; visually - taking your eyes off the road; and cognitively - taking your mind off driving.

To help you manage common distractions behind the wheel they recommend:

Putting your cell phone out of sight while driving.

Prepare ahead of time by checking directions and eating and ask a passenger to be your designated caller or texter if necessary.
