DENISON TX --Country music legend Reba McEntire was in town to give back to the community that helped raise her. Today was the groundbreaking for the new Reba ranch house.

"Its going to be a beautiful facility where folks can come and stay all night in the comfort of a nice home", said McEntire.

The ranch house provides a place to rest for the families of critically ill patients being treated at area hospitals.

"Instead of having to stay in the sometimes crowded waiting rooms they can go down and stay at the Reba ranch house in comfort and that means a lot to me and my family", said McEntire

Now that tmc is building a new hospital, Reba is building a new ranch house. The house near the current hospital has welcomed in more than 24 thousand visitors.

"They write back and say how important it was and how rested they felt and how much more support they could give to their family members by getting a good nights sleep" said McEntire

Reba says it feels good to be able to give back to a community that’s given her so much.
