it was a hard game and the jackets still have the axe.the refs were blind to alot of plays and i hpe the next ones are not as bad as some we have had.there are some kids on the team that are as good as the ones that normaly play but they dont get and are considered seconds and thirds if there is such, the coach should let them play more.before the next game here the ploice and fire dept. should try to make sure that every one is safe. and while on my soap box,WHAT IS WRONG WITH OUR FANS,THEY SHOULD BE CHEERING REALLY WELL,NOT SITTING ONE YOUR BUT,THE KIDS REALLY LIKE US TO CHEER.scream, yell, stomp your feet and ring those bells as loud as possible

At least Sherman played a "clean" game and they didn't have anyone ejected from the game. I am ashamed to admit I'm a jacket fan.

As it turns out, the axe is not on the line. It is in Denison, right where it belongs.

What a great game! I can't say I cared too much for the officiating, though...lots of bad calls on both sides of the ball.

I'm a Bearcat and hope they win, but it's great that our area will have 2 teams to pull for in the play offs. As a matter of fact, I hope they don't but if Dension were to win 75% of the Axe games for the next 38 years it would go a long way towards uniting the two communities. That would mean that it took Denison 148 years to finally even the record with the BEARCATS. Please remember at the first I did say I was a BEARCAT, class of 63 season of 62---Sherman 20 Dension 0. Get'em CATS.

I feel that Sherman will win the game. We have a lot of team speed, and i think we have fewer penalties, which is what this game will come down to penalties and turnovers.Although I want both teams to advance, but i (we) want, Sherman to bring the Axe back HOME.Sherman 35,Denison 28."yea thats right".How many people does the Denison stadium Hold?......GO CATS.........

As a former Yellow Jacket, I feel that Denison has a real shot at going all the way to state. They have to stay focused and take it one game at a time, but at the same time, keep their eye on the prize. I am very proud of them for their hardwork this season and wish them good luck on tonights game as well the rest of the season. STING'EM JACKETS!!!

The Axe is coming back to Sherman. Denison is way too cocky. They are due for a hard fall.
