MUSKOGEE, Okla. -- A former Ardmore postal worker has been sentenced to three years probation, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

Justin Throneberry, 32, pleaded guilty in May to "delay or destruction of mail by postal employee."

Throneberry was indicted in March.

An official from the local U.S. Attorney's Office in Muskogee said that indictment states Throneberry knowingly detained, opened and destroyed a package while working as a USPS employee in December of last year.
