CHOCTAW COUNTY, OK-- A Sawyer woman was arrested after allegedly leading Hugo Police on a high speed chase through Choctaw County.

Hugo Police say around 11 Monday night, 24 year old Alexandria Sandifer attempted to back into a police car at a convenience store in the 3800 block of Highway 70.

Police say she then took off heading east on Highway 70, reaching speeds up to 130 miles an hour. They say when she reached Sawyer, she turned into a RV park and then she suddenly stopped at one of the homes.

"I'm not exactly sure what her reasoning was," said Billy Jenkins with Hugo Police. "She did have, upon checking her background, we did find she had warrants from some areas in Texas. They were non-extraditable warrants, but she probably wouldn't of known that."

Officers removed Sandifer from her vehicle and arrested her. She is being held in the Choctaw County Jail.
