SULPHUR, OK -- Speed may have been a factor in a fiery crash southwest of Sulphur Wednesday afternoon.
Troopers say 18-year-old Malorie Pope of Davis was headed west on County Road 3 when she crested a hill and saw an oncoming Jeep.
Pope swerved off the road, rolled, hit a tree and the car caught on fire.
She was flown by medical helicopter to OU Medical Center in serious condition.
Troopers say there's no evidence that the Jeep entered Pope's lane and that driver was not hurt.
The crash is under investigation.
