BRYAN COUNTY, OK -- The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says one man was sent to the hospital and another was arrested following a crash near Lake Texoma early Saturday morning.

Just after midnight OHP says 29-year-old Joshua Stanley was doing donuts with a truck around a picnic table when the vehicle slid off a ledge and rolled. The crash happened southwest of Mead on corps land. Stanley was ejected from the pick-up and was taken to Texoma Medical Center in critical condition. Investigators say alcohol was a factor in the collision.

Troopers say 29-year-old James Tom of Mead was standing near the accident site and was arrested for public intoxication, preventing an EMS worker from rendering aid, resisting arrest and assault on a police officer. OHP says a trooper suffered a minor injury on his hand while trying to apprehend Tom.
