Boy, 11, dies in Bryan Co. ATV accident

UTICA, OK- An 11-year old boy died Monday night in a four-wheeler accident in Bryan County.

Investigators said around 8:45 p.m. Colton Chreene of Flower Mound, Texas, suffered head and neck injuries when in an ATV crash on private property in Utica, a community southeast of Durant.

OHP says Chreene and his uncle were riding separate ATVs in a pasture when the boy made a left turn into a ravine and crashed.
A chopper was called in, but later cancelled. He was transported by ambulance to MCSO, where he died an hour later.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol and Bryan County EMS responded to the scene. OHP says the boy was not wearing a helmet and that speed likely played a role in the accident.
