Overnight Fire - Arson Suspected

Video will be available shortly.

9-14-04 - Police in Ardmore are investigating a suspicious fire they believe could be the result of arson. It happened around 2am Tuesday in the 400 block of Ardmore Avenue.

When firefighters arrived, the two-story house was empty, but virtually the entire backside of the structure was in flames. After putting out the blaze, firefighters found several suspicious burn patterns, along with a container of flammable liquid in the house. Police are investigating to figure out who would want to burn the building down and why.

The home had been empty for several months. Anyone with any information on this fire is asked to contact the Ardmore police department.
