PARIS, TX - A Paris, Texas, man shot in a disturbance early this morning is now dead.
Police tell us it happened just after 6:30 a.m. at a residence in the 400 block of Southeast 14th Street. It apparently started as a disturbance, but ended with 30-year-old Dustin Glen Shelton and another person transported to Paris Regional Medical Center, where Shelton was pronounced dead later this morning from an apparent gunshot wound. The other person was treated and released.
Police say they are investigating the shooting.No other names are being released at this time.
