Fannin Co. man accused of murder in shooting death
FANNIN CO., TX -- One man is in jail accused of murder. Authorities say he shot another man to death in Fannin County on Saturday.

FANNIN CO., TX -- One man is in jail accused of murder. Authorities allege he shot another man to death in Fannin County on Saturday.
The shooting happened in the 3400 block of County Road 2250. Deputies with the Sheriff's office say they were called to the area about 3:30PM.
When they arrived, they say they found the body of Michael Davis of Telephone, Texas.
Later Saturday evening, officials arrested Russell Brandon Lyles, 30, of Ivanhoe, Texas. Deputies say Lyles lived on the property, manging it as a ranch foreman. They say Lyles is now facing murder charges.
Deputies say the two men knew each other, but they aren't releasing any other details, as the investigation is on-going.
Davis's body was sent to the Colin County Medical Examiners office for an autopsy.
The Texas Rangers are assisting with the investigation, but local authorities say they don't anticipate any other arrests.
