SHERMAN, TX - We now the names of the three people found dead after a fire at a residence near Sherman. The bodies of 30-year-old Brian Lee Ritchie, 25-year-old Misty Yvonne Ballou, and her sister 28-year-old Cassandra Dawn Ballou were recovered from the home on Reynolds Lane on Monday morning.
Texas Rangers and agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms are assisting the Grayson County Sheriff's Office in the investigation into the deaths. The bodies have been taken to the Dallas County Medical Examiner's office for autopsies.
Investigators are treating the case as a triple homicide and arson.
"Once the ATF completes their investigation, we will know where the fire started and how," Sgt. Rickey Wheeler with the Grayson County Sheriff's Office says.
