Semi accident on U.S. 75 slows down morning drive

DENISON, TX--Highway 75 northbound in Denison is back open after a semi accident in between exit 73 and exit 74 this morning at the Highway 69/75 turnaround. The accident happened around 5 a.m.

A man driving a tractor trailer is seriously injured according to Denison Fire Department. His name is not being released but we now know that he was transported to T.M.C. Emergency crews reportedly had a difficult time trying to free the driver of the semi from the wreckage.

Denison Fire Department said the semi truck was the only vehicle involved. They told KXII that the exact cause of the accident is unclear and remains under investigation.

DFD said the driver left the roadway and tore up the guard rail on the north bound lanes in the median. More details as they become available.
