MARSHALL COUNTY, Okla. – A salt water tank fire in Little City had emergency officials on high alert on Thursday.
The tank caught fire at around 11 o’clock Thursday morning. A company spokesman said that it caught fire when workers were painting the water tank next to two other tanks that contain oil.
"We were painting a fiberglass water tank and had a little gas venting off. We think painters were painting it. We don’t know what ignited it. It’s under investigation," Cimrex energy production foreman Ben Duff said.
Foam was used to put out the fire. Officials say no one was hurt
