PONTOTOC COUNTY, Okla. -- All six pit bull dogs that attacked and killed an Ada woman have been accounted for, but the search continues for the owner of the dogs.

Rosalie Bivins, 65, was killed Monday when she was attacked while using a walker to get to her mailbox.

Neighbors of Bivins say the dogs may have belonged to Bivins' son-in-law, who investigators say had fed them on occasion.

The state health department says so far 5 of the 6 dogs have tested negative for rabies.

Wake up people. The daughter and son-in-law owned the dogs. How do we know, he bragged about spending a lot of money training them to hunt and attack on his command!!! Of course he isn't going to say he owned them now. The family beat up a news reporter trying to do a followup story and the sherrif's department didn't do anything about it because the family lied...again.

I am amazed each time this comes up. People that own Pit Bulls deny that they are Killers. I have seen first hand what they will do. I saw an innocent family pet killed by a Pit bull for absolutely no reason. I saw grown men hitting this dog with pipes and everything to get him off the pet. He did not stop until the pet was dead. He went from sitting calmly to death and destruction instantly, then back to calm. PIT BULLS ARE KILLERS.....I have heard the owners say over and over, " My Pit Bull would not hurt a flea, he is as gentle as they come. I trust him with my children". I say "WAKE UP and Outlaw Pit Bulls". I cannot imagine what this poor woman went through. She was just trying to get her mail, on her own property. That is so sad. God Bless her family.

Like they are going to find the owners of all these dogs and you are going to go by what neighbors say, whoever was feeding the dogs may not have wanted these dogs to starve to death so they were being nice and fed these dogs

I think that when they find the owner of the dogs that person should be charged. any animal will attack when hungry. I know that all pits arent bad, but I still will not own one. I have children and other animals. when I was younger they were 2 pits that attacked a horse and killed it for no reason. If people cant handle their dogs they need to get rid of them. I feel for the family members and what this lady. If a person is going to have a mean dog then that dog needs to be chained or in a fence. This story sickens me.
