ARDMORE, Oklahoma - Police on Monday were still looking into a weekend disturbance that ended at Mercy Memorial Sunday night.

It began around 9pm on 5th Street Northwest.

Authorities say at least two men were involved in a disturbance with a woman, when another pair of men intervened. The disturbance apparently turned into a car chase, but ended when one of the men was struck by a flying glass bottle.

Police say that man told emergency workers at Mercy he'd been shot, although it was later discovered the man was wounded by broken glass.

The extent of the victim's injuries weren't immediately known Monday night. Police were still looking into exactly what happened.

Now, now, you people know that you should be at home in bed by 9:00 P.M. and not 9:00 A.M. no matter what age you are, because everyone in Ardmore knows what kind of criminal elements run around at night. And it's usually the same people giving Ardmore a black eye. If Ardmore were to be a bit more conservative in enforcing its laws especially with its juveniles, Ardmore would be a nicer town!

I think the Ardmore Police do a fine job! Hey Republican, are you a night crawler yourself..must be..to KNOW that the parking lot at Walmart is being loitered..EVERYNIGHT...Walmart must be okay with that if they are allowed on premises... What does this story have to do with Walmart parking lot anyway? The story is about an altercation...It's not the fault of the police that these individuals got into it...Those people are the ones who started that mess. not the police and surely not walmart..

Pick up spot? lol, they're mostly "kids" in case you havent noticed. From the way youre talking you never were one. We had the same situation in Denison, it was called a tradition, and sometimes fights happen. I enjoyed the Denison Drag back in the day, and no, i dont do drugs.

If the Ardmore Police Dept. would do their job and clean out the Wal-Mart parking lot every night of all the loitering by the two-legged night crawlers, then Ardmore might be a little calmer during the night. The Wal-Mart parking lot looks like a pick-up spot and where drug activity goes on every night.
