BONHAM, Tex. -- The boil order for water in the city of Bonham has been lifted.

Most of the city was without water last Friday. It even caused the school to close for a day.

The city was installing a new valve.

The city’s water was inspected by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, and the TCEQ says the water is safe.

Do people in Bonham really drink the water? I left 27 years ago when the smell of the water was so bad that you didn't dare think of drinking it. Good Luck Bonham residence.
