10-6-04 - Sherman city leaders want citizen’s opinions about a master plan for city parks. The city has hired an engineering firm to find out what exactly people want to see in the parks. The firm will interview people and conduct surveys over the next year.

Some issues that have come up recently are the need for more soccer fields and updated or repaired equipment. Others have voiced the need for a new park altogether, to accommodate the growing need for soccer fields.

The study will cost $52,000 – money that is already in the city council's budget.
