10-7-04 - The empty K-Mart building in Sherman could soon have a new tenant. On Thursday, a prospective tenant toured the building, as construction crews cleared out old shelves.
The building has sat empty for more than one year, and already a deal to bring a local furniture store into the location has fallen through.
Representatives of the latest company to show interest told First News they are looking at occupying 25 percent of the building. They will probably make an offer sometime this month. They don't want to disclose their name or any more details about the discussions with the building's owner.
