Texas Bull Rider Killed in Hugo
10-11-04 – A Texas bull rider was killed at an event in Hugo Friday night. Authorities say a 21-year-old Houston man was thrown from a bull; then stepped on at 8:20 p.m.
EMS workers were on standby at the event, they rushed the victim to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The bull rider suffered massive head injuries.
The rider was taking part in a two day program. The Freckles Brown Memorial Bull riding event continued on Saturday.
