Bond Not Lowered for Trucker

10-15-04 - A judge refused to lower bond for the truck driver charged with killing ten people in an accident in Sherman. Miroslaw Jozwiak has been in jail since September 20th. He is being held on two million dollars bond.

His attorney asked a judge Friday afternoon for a bond reduction.

The accident killed five members of a Mc Kinney family and five construction workers from Dallas.

Authorities are still awaiting the results of blood tests. They are trying to determine why Jozwiak cross the highway median, causing the wreck.
