Road Rage Accident Injures Toddler, Infant

11-27-04- Durant police are investigating a road rage incident that sent five people to the hospital Saturday evening, including an infant and a young toddler.

The accident happened on Highway 78 about three miles north of the Durant Country Club about 5:30 p.m.

Investigators are looking at two vehicles and trying to determine of one was intentionally rammed from behind. An SUV with a toddler and an infant inside flipped over, ejecting the older child. Five people in two vehicles were transported to Southeastern Oklahoma Medical Center in Durant. Authorities say none of the victims had life threatening injuries.
