I bet old WC was standing up and screaming double jeopardy after a state jury aquitted LAPD Sergeant Koon in the Rodney King case, and the feds then indicted him on a 1983 Civil Rights Act. Because people like old WC are not predjudiced nor would he play the race card.

Do not call them young men. They are thugs. Young men do not act this way. Shanna, you are so quick to quote some bible, how about the part about "Obeying man's law"? Or are you one of those Christinans that act like it when it suits your situations?

i dont think racism has anything to do with this situation. racism didnt play any part when they held those people at gun point. the only victims in this situation are the ones who got no justice at all, before you go yelling racism think of the ones who are still and will always be suffering everday of their lives. I think the judge who gave them 75 days needs to go to jail himself and sit for giving another man 60 days.

hey anonymous all you do is harp about racist, so you must be one, because you won't even tell where your from. Most people will at least tell what state but you insist on keeping yours a secret. These two young men commited a crime so they should do the time and the judge that sentenced them and the other man needs to go.

It is not double jeopardy because what the Feds are charging them with (interference with interstate commerce) is different than what they were charged with on the local level.

I agree they should get more time, but isnt this getting into double jeopardy for them.

To Anonymous this is not a racial issue so don't make it one. This is about 2 guys that were not sentenced accordingly; these 2 committed a violent crime; I have to wonder if the children involved would have been yours would you honestly feel the same as you do now? As far as the guy the judge just sentenced to 60 days; the Feds need to come in and take over again cause that was another crappy sentence given. As far as pleas go; they turned down the DA's plea and entered a blind plea, now this makes people believe that they already knew what kind of B.S. sentence they were going to be given or they would have taken the DA's sentence. Don't throw out the race everytime someone speaks out of injustice; it is only about what is right and what is wrong. No one cares what race, religion, etc that someone is; PUNISHMENT SHOULD FIT THE CRIME COMMITTED. END OF STORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
