Accused Bank Robber in Jail

11-30-04 - Bonham police say they’ve found the man behind the robbery of a branch of the Bonham State Bank in September. 37-year-old Clint Ray Lane is already behind bars in Hunt County, accused of a terrorist threat and violation of probation in Commerce. Police say they have enough evidence to charge Lane, although they were not specific as to what that evidence was.

Bonham police are in the process of getting an arrest warrant to formally charge Lane with that bank robbery. Chief Mike Bankston credited the work of his detective Sergeant Wendell Bockman and the cooperation of the FBI in solving the case.
