10-20-04 - A trailer manufacturing business in Madill is cleaning up after fire destroyed one of its buildings.

The fire at CM Trailers on highway 199 started early Wednesday morning inside a building used for customizing and finishing trailers.

The business has been in Madill for more than 15 years, and is one of the county’s largest employers.

The fire took more than six hours to put out. It is still under investigation, but firefighters believe it may have started in the paint room.

The owners say they intend to rebuild, and will shift manufacturing to other buildings on site in the meantime.
