12-02-04 – The site of the old Sher-Den Mall could soon be home to new businesses. The building’s demolition is scheduled for completion by the end January and ideas of what to do with the land are already circulating.

City leaders say the owner of the property does not want to sell the land, but is hoping to become partners with a developer who could turn the land into a future business site. City Manager Scott Wall says the new businesses could strengthen the businesses already on Texoma Parkway.

The mall’s demolition began back in May.
