10-23-04- A quiet Saturday inside the Ardmore Subway restaurant was shattered when a pick-up truck came crashing into the front of the store on Grand Avenue Saturday afternoon.
It happened around 1:30 p.m. when the truck crashed all the wya into the front part of the Subway. Police believe it was just an accident. They say the passenger in the truck accidentally hit the driver's leg causing her to hit the gas instead of the brake.
Neighboring businesses say the noise was frightening, but they're relieved no one was seriously injured. No one was inside the restaurant at the time. The truck stopped just short of hitting the counter.
