Former chief under house arrest

SAWYER, Okla. -- A former police chief accused of sexual assault is now under house arrest. Coke Douglas Makerney, 48, is now wearing an ankle monitoring device.

Makerney used to work for the Sawyer Police Department. He's accused of federal charges that he tried to sexually abuse a female driver while he working as a police officer.

Makerney could face up to fifteen years in prison if convicted.

No word yet on his next court date.

    He has now plead guilty and is being detained until his sentencing hearing in 60-90 days.
