Police Make Arrest in Murder of Elderly Woman
10-25-04 - A man already in the Lamar County jail was charged with murder this weekend for a crime committed more than 8 months ago.
Police issued a warrant for 38-year-old Clark Dwayne Mays on Saturday for the murder of Mary Ann White on February 18th. The 76-year-old woman died inside her home on 3rd Northwest Street.
Police used forensic evidence to make the arrest but there is still no word on a motive.
