10-26-04 – A local school made a disappointing discovery Monday morning. Nearly 150 pumpkins at the Oak Hall Episcopal School in Ardmore were either kicked in or carved up over the weekend.

The school has operated a pumpkin patch for the last three years as a fundraiser for school carnivals and technology upgrades. Last year, the money earned at the pumpkin patch was used for new computers.

Police have no suspects at this time. School officials are now looking into building an electric fence for next year’s patch.
