LINDSAY, Okla. (AP) - Small earthquakes woke up residents of Lindsay in south-central Oklahoma early this morning. No damage is reported.
The Oklahoma geological survey says a 2.7 magnitude quake was recorded about 3 just northeast of Lindsay. A 1.8 magnitude aftershock was recorded in the same area at about 3:45.
Residents reported hearing a booming sound like thunder followed
by a slight shaking.
It comes just two weeks after 3.0 earthquake shook the same area. That makes at least 35 earthquakes in Oklahoma in 2004.
