Kosanke Receives Federal Charges

Video will be available shortly.

12-9-04 – Ed Kosanke, the man accused of setting off an explosion in downtown Sherman back in September, has been formally charged on five counts involving possession and manufacture of explosives.

A pipe bomb was found in Kosanke’s downtown business.

Kosanke has been in the Grayson County Jail since September. If convicted of all the explosives charges, he could spend between five and 40 years in prison.

In early November, Kosanke also pled guilty to unrelated charges having to do with stolen goods. He will receive a sentence for those charges before a trial is set on the explosives charges.

Christopher Paul Jones, 28, from Denison, also faces similar charges.
