12-10-04 - Four months after the Durant police chief resigned, city leaders have chosen his replacement. Sources inside the city have confirmed Captain Gary Rudick of the Tulsa Police Department will take the job.
City Manager Paul Buntz would not confirm that but did say a news conference would be held on Monday. First News spoke with Captain Rudick by phone. He said he'd wait until next week to give an official comment.
