11-4-04 – A Carter County preacher is in jail; accused of lewd acts with a child. Christopher Ragle, a preacher at the Church of Christ in Healdton was arrested Tuesday.
Authorities say, Saturday night, Ragle allegedly asked a 4-year-old to take off her clothes before he drew her outline on a piece of butcher paper. Questions arose the next day when the girl’s parents saw the drawing.
The Sheriff’s Department says admitted to the incident, but insists he did anything wrong.
Ragle faces one charge of lewd acts with a child. The incident is under investigation; Ragle is in jail on $50,000 bond.
