11-5-04 – A Texoma town is proud of their high school marching band. A group of 110 students played their hearts out at state competition recently and walked away with 6th place honors.

This was Whitesboro High School’s best finish in history.

The band went down to San Antonio last weekend, wowing judges at the state competition.

The Bearcat Band marched on the floor of the Alamodome four times over the weekend. They were among seven teams in the 3A conference to make it to the state finals.
