Flu Vaccine in Carter County

11-7-04- The Carter County Health Department has received a limited amount of flu vaccine for high-risk adults and an additional supply of vaccine for high-risk children.

The Department has about 1,000 doses of adult vaccine and 130 doses of child vaccine on hand.

Right now, only high-risk adults over 65 and children ages six to 23 months can get the vaccine. Clinics for child vaccinations in Ardmore and Healdton are by appointment only.

Shot clinics have been set up for Wednesday in Ardmore and November 16th in Healdton.

Austin College Commencement Celebration Nearing
