Husband, Wife Accused of Molestation

11-11-04 - SULPHUR, Okla. (AP) Murray County prosecutors have charged a husband and wife with molesting four children over a period of years.

Authorities arrested 25-five-year-old Roger Gilcrease Wednesday in Woods County and his 28-year-old wife Rhonda Gilcrease on Tuesday.

Assistant District Attorney James Wilson says a deprived child case led them to the Gilcreases.

Wilson says after the children were removed from the home, they began telling officials about what happened to them.

The crimes are alleged to have happened between 1998 and 2002.

Roger Gilcrease is accused of child sexual exploitation, rape by instrumentation, showing obscene material to a minor, child sexual abuse, child abuse and knowingly furnishing alcohol to a person under 21.

Rhonda Gilcrease is accused of lewd molestation, showing obscene material to a minor and permitting abuse to a child, among other charges.
