Hundreds Wait For Flu Shots

Video will be available shortly.

11-12-04 – Residents in Carter County braved the cold weather to receive a flu shot Friday morning. The line for the shots wrapped around a portion of the Carter County Health Department. Some waited up to two hours for the vaccine.

The health department had one-thousand doses of the vaccine and scheduled to give the shots until 4pm. However, they expected to run out before then.

The county plans on receiving more doses next week.

It was a similar sight in Bryan County earlier this week and Johnston County today.
