11-13-04- Sherman police are investigating a fatal accident in Sherman Friday evening that killed a 55 year old woman when her car ran off the road and into a large ditch.
Police say Copeland ran off the road when she was headed southbound on Texoma Parkway near the Hwy. 75 exit ramp. Her vehicle was discovered in a large ditch and Copeland was found dead inside.
Investigators believe the woman might have suffered a heart attack, but say the accident is still under investigation.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident and no other injuries were reported.
