HUGO, Okla. -- Oklahoma State Senator Jeff Rabon pleaded not-guilty Wednesday in court to driving under the influence. Rabon was arraigned in a Choctaw County court Wednesday morning on an aggravated driving under the influence charge.

His next court date is scheduled for December 19th for a dispositional docket. District Attorney Laura Wallis says prosecutors will present their evidence to the court to try and reach a plea deal. Otherwise the case will go to trial.

Last month tests revealed Rabon's blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit when he was involved in a three-car accident in August.
