Incentive Package Approved For Tyson

11-15-04 – SEDCO has approved an incentive package for Tyson Fresh Meats. The package offers the meat company $3 million in incentives. If Tyson accepts the deal, the company would bring 1500 new jobs to the area.
The workers employed would earn $10 an hour plus benefits.
Tyson would operate in the old Oscar Meyer if the plan is accepted. The plant is already owned by Tyson and would become a major meat manufacturing plant.
