CARTER COUNTY, Okla. -- Former Carter County Drug Task Force investigator Kevin McIntire is set to have his preliminary hearing in December.

Back in October, an indictment unsealed in Carter County accuses McIntire of stealing seized drug money then staging a burglary to cover the whole thing up.

Oklahoma Attorney General Drew Edmonson says McIntire allegedly seized $2,300 dollars during a 2004 arrest and had failed to report or file the money.

McIntire’s prelim is set for December 13th at the Carter County Courthouse.

There are the good and the bad and there are so many good officers falsely accused.I think if I was going to steal I would get more than 2,300.

I wonder how many others do this? Would be nice to know. There are soooooo many crooked people that work in the criminal justice system. Its a shame.. the people that we depend on to protect us and dismantle these types of operations are doing a lot of dirty work too.
