1-19-05 - Durant police are investigating what happened to two young girls over the weekend, after concerns that they were held against their will in an apartment complex. The girls, ages 11 and 12, willingly left a bowling alley on Saturday night with a man in his 20’s – someone police describe as an acquaintance.

It wasn’t until late Monday that police found them, after their church pastor organized a search for the girls. Police say one of the girls had been sexually assaulted, and both complained of being given drinks that made them sleepy. Officers are investigating whether the girls were held against their will or possibly drugged. So far there have not been any arrests.
